Protea Hotel By Marriott Johannesburg Wanderers, Johannesburg

The hotel offered a mix of positives and negatives for my stay. The rooms were suitable in terms of bed size, but lacked the signature apple of Wanderers hotel, felt cramped, and didn't smell fresh. The temperature oscillated between hot and freezing throughout the night. However, the service was top-notch and accommodating, despite a slight hiccup with the booking process. The location was excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Dining was a bit costly and lacked variety. Overall, a decent choice with room for improvement.

The location was ideal for our needs, close to business destinations and sporting venues, while the dining experience was one of the best we've had.
